Various factors are taken into consideration when calculating the number of assessment days and the cost of the IiV package. These factors include the number offices/sites/branches, number of projects and volunteer roles and also the number of staff and volunteers to be interviewed.
This all-inclusive package fee includes:
- Introductory workshop at your premises
- Feedback from your Assessor on your Self-Assessment
- Final assessment visit and a copy of your full written report
- Access to the easy 10 Steps-guide for organisations and all supporting documentation
- Access to the Best Practice Library on the password protected pages of the website
- Upon being awarded the quality mark, your organisation will receive personalised certificates, a plaque and permission to use the IiV logo on stationary and branding
- Your award and use of branding is valid for 3 years.
As an example, for most small organisations in Scotland, operating from one site with up to 50 volunteers, the total cost will be £1,000 inc. vat.
For an organisation with 50 - 100 volunteers, 1-10 volunteer roles and based within 1 office, the cost of the IiV package would be £1,500 to £2,000.
IMPORTANT: we carefully examine an organisations' size and structure before providing the cost. An organisation should start the process by completing the "Register Interest" form and answering the Q&A document in as much detail as possible.
Alternatively, you can contact Anne Hislop, IiV Manager, at Volunteer Development Scotland to discuss the price and process for your organisation to achieve Investing in Volunteers.
This payment will last for one year from the date of receipt by VDS, in which time we would expect your organisation to commence the assessment process. Organisations which do not do this may be asked to pay a further fee or to withdraw from the list of registered organisations. You can, of course, re-register at a later date. To register please complete the registration form on line.
