Vale Volunteer Bureau

The Vale Volunteer Bureau (VVB) was opened in 1996 and operates out of an accessible, shop-fronted premises on Holton Road. The premises are situated in Barry town centre. The team consists of both volunteers and paid staff. Volunteers compliment the work of the organisation, which in return provides them with the skills, knowledge and confidence that is needed to achieve their personal goals.

The VVB provides a comprehensive service to volunteers with a wide range of volunteering opportunities locally (550+) and has been helping people to volunteer and promoting good practice in volunteering for over 10 years, and know the area and its communities well.

Canolfan Gwirfoddol y Fro

Agorwyd Canolfan Gwirfoddoli y Fro (VVB) yn 1996 ac mae’n gweithredu o adeilad hygyrch sydd â blaen siop iddo ar Heol Holton. Mae’r adeilad yng nghanol tref Y Barri. Mae'r tîm yn cynnwys gwirfoddolwyr a staff cyflogedig. Mae gwirfoddolwyr yn ategu gwaith y mudiad, sydd yn ei dro yn darparu’r sgiliau, y wybodaeth a’r hyder angenrheidiol iddynt gyflawni eu nodau unigol.

Mae VVB yn darparu gwasanaeth cynhwysfawr i wirfoddolwyr gydag ystod eang o gyfleoedd gwirfoddoli’n lleol (550+) ac y mae wedi bod yn cynorthwyo pobl i wirfoddoli am dros 10 mlynedd, ac yn adnabod yr ardal a’r gymuned yn dda.
