Cymdeithas Gymunedol y Gilfach Goch
The Gilfach Goch Community Association is locally owned and led by the children, young people and volunteers. In consultation with the community the Association plans, organises and implements informal, educational, and recreational activities for all ages from parent and toddler groups to youth clubs, after school clubs, job clubs, adult educational classes and various recreational activities within the community. The projects are run with assistance from local adult volunteers and senior youth members. All projects encourage self-help where groups have the opportunity to plan educational and social activities themselves with support, to acquire self-confidence and self worth.
Mae Cymdeithas Gymunedol y Gilfach Goch yn eiddo i’r trigolion lleol ac mae’n cael ei rhedeg gan y plant, y bobl ifanc a gwirfoddolwyr. Mewn ymgynghoriad â’r gymuned, mae’r Gymdeithas yn cynllunio, trefnu ac yn cyflwyno gweithgareddau anffurfiol, addysgiadol a hamdden ar gyfer pob oed, o grwpiau rhieni a’u plant i grwpiau ieuenctid, clybiau ar ôl ysgol, clybiau gwaith, dosbarthiadau addysgiadol i oedolion a gwahanol weithgareddau hamdden yn y gymuned. Mae’r prosiectau’n cael eu rhedeg gyda chymorth oedolion lleol sy’n gwirfoddoli ac oedolion ifanc. Mae pob prosiect yn annog pobl i helpu eu hunain, gyda grwpiau’n cael cyfle i gynllunio eu gweithgareddau addysgiadol a chymdeithasol eu hunain gyda chymorth, i fagu hunan hyder a hunan barch.
