Why did you decide to go for Investing in Volunteers?

We felt it was a way to recognise our volunteers as well as help us to put strategies in place to encourage good practise.

What benefits have you found from working towards Investing in Volunteers?

It has helped in so many ways – more structure in the volunteer program and more structure in the organisation as a whole.

How did the assessment work in your organisation?

It went very well. We had the assessor come in and speak to just about every one of the volunteers and staff. Everyone was happy to speak to her and they

Were glad we were going for the award.
