Why did you decide to go for Investing in Volunteers?

I wanted to make sure we were running the project in the correct way as I was new to the post of Volunteer Manager

It has made us review our policies and procedures and look at how we support our volunteers it as most useful

Tell us about your experience of the assessment process in your organisation.

It was very good. Our assessor was very professional and experienced dealing with organisations and people. I was quite worried about the whole process in the beginning being new to the role as well but our assessor made me feel very confident and at ease where I was expecting to feel frustrated and rushed.
