Why did you decide to go for Investing in Volunteers?

We believe in offering our volunteers a quality experience with training, support and fun. We hoped that the standard would act as a way of enhancing and improving what we offered and would be public recognition of our work

What benefits have you found from working towards Investing in Volunteers?

The organisation has worked better as a team.

Tell us about your experience of the assessment process in your organisation.

We were worried about the assessment but our assessor was very good and made everyone feel comfortable. The Assessor made sure I was able to tell all volunteers in advance how much time was needed and what to expect so this helped.
