Why did you decide to go for Investing in Volunteers?

As a way of measuring + improving our volunteering programme.

What benefits have you found from working towards Investing in Volunteers?

The process has validated our volunteering programme which has helped both staff and volunteer morale. Volunteers have felt appreciated and have had another opportunity to contribute towards the development of our programme.

As an organisation we have reviewed the experience of volunteers and put an ongoing review process in place for volunteers.

Tell us about your experience of the assessment process in your organisation.

Very enjoyable and relaxed day for all concerned. A well handled assessment with volunteers reporting feeling relaxed. People were questioned in a meaningful way and felt valued through the experience.
