| It was a large timetable to organise but it worked well on the day. One volunteer was ill but able to undertake a telephone assessment. |
| 5 Practical tips you would give another organisation working towards Investing in Volunteers - Involve the whole team (volunteers, staff and trustees) so responsibilities can be shared
- Regular meetings to check progress and to help keep on track so can meet assessment day deadline.
- Be realistic about time commitments.
- Ensure everybody kept up to date on progress
- Reassure volunteers on the procedure as can get worried about the assessment and feel responsible.
