Achievers’ Feedback

Shelter Cymru - July 2017

What have been the overall benefits of achieving/renewing the IiV accreditation?
Sense of achievement in gaining this quality mark.

Reassurance that we are doing things as well as we can when involving volunteers.

A great opportunity for staff, volunteers and trustees to achieve something together.

What tips would you give to other organisations working towards Investing in Volunteers?

1. Be realistic about how much time it will take to prepare for assessment

2. Make sure everyone in the org is aware of what a positive step this is and how they can help to achieve it.
